3D Sephardi Artifacts
This page presents an evolving collection of Sephardi 3D artifacts, created through Artificial Intelligence and digital modeling technologies. The project gathers works from students, researchers, and international collaborators who explore the material and symbolic heritage of Sepharad using the tools of Digital Humanities.
The main goal is to build an open database of digitally recreated or imagined objects that can be exhibited in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) environments. These models invite viewers to experience cultural heritage in immersive ways, connecting history, art, and technology in a living, interactive archive.
Created through AI-assisted generative modeling and rendering, this work seeks to connect the everyday with the transcendent, showing how material culture can take on new dimensions in virtual space.

This 3D model represents the “Challah of the Seven Heavens”, a symbolic piece blending culinary art and spirituality within the Sephardi tradition. Inspired by mystical interpretations of the Sabbath bread, the digital design reimagines the challah as an ascending form that evokes the seven celestial levels described in Kabbalistic literature.
